Pacha Manga Chammanthi
Pacha Manga Chammanthi, also known as Raw Mango Chutney, is a Kerala dish made of green mango, shallots, chilies, and coconut. This tangy and spicy chutney goes well with rice and tiffin foods such as idli and dosa.
Pacha manga chammanthi / mango chutney is an all time favorite chutney of my family.
It's incredibly simple to make.Grated raw mango -1/2 cupIngredients
Grated coconut -1 cup
Shallots 4-5
Dried red chillies - 5 nos
Ginger - 1 small piece
Curry leaves - few
Salt to taste
Method
- In a mixer take grated mango, coconut,shallots,red chilli
- Add salt, curry leaves, ginger and little water.
- Grind all the ingredients to a coarse paste
- Tasty mango chammanthi is ready to serve.
- Serve with hot rice & roasted pappadm
